Funeral Service for Anna Marie Rinke, age 95, of Wheaton, Minnesota will be held Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton, Minnesota with Rev. Anthony Ahrendt officiating. Pallbearers will be Annas grandchildren. Honorary Pallbearers will be Annas great-grandchildren. Organist will be Sara Lee Rinke. Interment will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, rural Wheaton. Visitation will be Friday evening, June 15, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with a 7:00 P.M. prayer service and time of sharing at the Ranney-Bainbridge Funeral Home in Wheaton. Visitation will continue Saturday morning, one hour prior to service time at the church. Anna Marie Schelter was born on May 29, 1917 to George and Erna (Paul) Schelter. Anna graduated from West Central School of Agriculture in Morris, Minnesota. She enjoyed music, playing the piano and accordion at a young age. She served as church organist for St. John's Lutheran Church in Dumont for several years. Anna and Henry Rinke were married on June 28, 1939 in Wheaton. Anna and Henry worked side by side farming and raising their children, David, Donald, Douglas and Roxanne on a farm south of Wheaton. Anna loved the Lord, her church and her family. She was a life long member of St. John Church, a Sunday school teacher, 4-H leader and a charter member of the Country Womens Homemaker Club. Anna enjoyed her flowers and plants. She provided ivy for the wedding bouquets for her children and grandchildren. Anna passed away on Wednesday June 13, 2012 at the Rosholt Care Center in Rosholt, South Dakota. Anna had just celebrated her 95th birthday. Anna is survived by four children: David (Evie) Rinke of Wheaton, Minnesota; Donald (Karen) Rinke of Willmar, Minnesota; Douglas (Lee) Rinke of Columbia, Missouri and Roxanne (Glenn) Schmitz of Hawley, Minnesota; Grandchildren: Michelle (Tom) Koch, Marc (Suzanne) Rinke, Darin (Michelle) Rinke, Daniel (Heidi) Rinke, Jodie (David) Douglas, Jennifer (Todd) Lee, Nathan Rinke, Teri (Todd) Smith, Troy (Kim) Rinke, TJ (Tara) Rinke, Ryan (Robin) Schmitz, Jesse (Anna) Schmitz and Cody (Brooke) Schmitz, Step-Grandchildren: Rachel (Ryan) Loney and Nathan Albrecht, thirty-six Great-Grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry and brother Rev. Herman Schelter. Blessed be the memory of Anna Marie Rinke.
