Bridget Schumacher

On November 13th, 2021, Bridget became one of Heaven’s most beloved angels.  Bridget was a wonderful woman that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished.  Bridget was an amazing mom, daughter, sister, aunt, and lover of all things sparkly.

Bridget first graced our presence on October 10th, 1962, in Waterloo, Iowa.  Bridget was the youngest child of the four Schumacher children.  When she was born Peter, Lisa, and Mark all discovered who was the real favorite child of the family.  Bridget knew she was so extremely special she had to go to Heaven first to make sure she got the best spot.  We all know that she is in Heaven picking out the best of everything so that when her sister gets there she can yell “MINE” as she did when her and her sister went shopping together.

Bridget graduated from Medina Public School in Medina, ND.  Soon after graduating from high school, she moved to Arizona with a friend.  Bridget was a loyal and dedicated worker at Wells Fargo for over 30 years.  During her life Bridget developed many lifelong friendships and was adored by many, which is what she always dreamed.

The love of Bridget’s life, Lucas, was born on December 20th, 1991. Bridget cherished her son until her last day.  Bridget and Lucas had an extremely strong bond and Lucas was the best person to ever happen to Bridget.  Bridget’s family continues to love and cherish her every day.  Bridget will live on through the love of her family, her son, and her jewelry that most likely her sister and mom are currently wearing.

We ask that if you travel, please bring Bridget with you in your heart. Bridget loved the idea of going to new places and had planned trips to England and Egypt.

Bridget is survived by her son Lucas, mother Mary Oachs, father Robert Schumacher, brother and wife Peter and Cheri Schumacher, sister and husband, Lisa and Denton Larson, brother and wife Mark and Pam Schumacher, and several nieces and nephews.

Bridget is having a family get together in Heaven with her maternal grandparents Mary and Stanley Churchill, paternal grandparents, paternal aunt and uncles, her stepfather James Oachs, Aunt Joan Churchill, Uncle James Churchill, and cousins Michael Riley, Ryan Riley, and Andrew Churchill.
