Chad Hilbrand

Chad Hilbrand, age 43, of Herman, Minnesota passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 9, 2017 at Prairie Ridge Hospital in Elbow Lake, Minnesota.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at United Methodist Church in Herman with Rev. Darrell Boe officiating. Organist will be Olivia Richards with special music provided by Greg Sperr. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Herman, Minnesota. Visitation will be held Friday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.

Chad Michael Hilbrand was born to Derald and Diane (Fabian) Hilbrand on April 6, 1974 at Stevens Community Hospital in Morris, Minnesota. He was baptized and confirmed at Faith United Methodist Church in Norcross, Minnesota. He graduated from Herman High School in 1992 and attended Alexandria Technical College in the welding program.

Chad and Beth Leuthard were married in 1995. To this union three children were born: Nichelle (Kameron) Arbaugh; Nathan Hilbrand; and Chelsea Hilbrand; Also surviving him are his grandson Karter; brothers: Mark and Todd, sister-in-law Becca; nephew Grayson and niece Ryla; Chad also has aunts, uncles and cousins that survive him.

Chad was preceded in death by his grandfather Ervin Fabian; grandparents Harold and Helena Hilbrand; cousin Clinton Sumerfelt; and aunt Peggy Hilbrand and uncle Lynn Hilbrand.
