Funeral Service for Charles Chuck Krauth, 50, of Wheaton, Minnesota will be held Friday, February 10, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wheaton, Minnesota with Rev. Tim Shekleton and Rev. John Stewart officiating. Pallbearers will be Chucks nieces and nephews. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Employees of the Wheaton/Dumont Co-op Elevator. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 9th from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Visitation will continue Friday morning one hour prior to service time at the church. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Charles Ronald Krauth was born April 19, 1961 to Ronald Ronnie and Elizabeth Betty (Doll) Krauth. He was the fourth of seven children. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Peters Catholic Church in Dumont. He graduated from Wheaton High School in 1979. On September 5, 1981 Chuck was united in marriage to Kelly Johnson at Bethlehem Covenant Church in Wheaton. They were blessed with three amazing daughters. Chuck worked at the Wheaton/Dumont Co-op Elevator for well over 30 years working in many different positions over the years. Chuck was a big family guy. He liked doing everything with his girls from traveling to riding around looking for deer and in recent years helping them out anyway he could. He especially liked babysitting his granddaughters. He enjoyed doing anything and everything outdoors especially spending time at the lake, camping, fishing, deer hunting and looking for deer sheds with the dogs. He even had a couple opportunities to go elk hunting in Wyoming. He also liked riding motorcycle and working on the old Dodge . He was a real handyman and could fix anything. He was a member of the Traverse County Sportsman Club, and throughout the years involved in the Rosholt Gun Club, was a Dumont Fireman and enjoyed bowling. On February 6, 2012 Chuck went to his ultimate hunting ground. Chuck is survived by his wife Kelly, daughters Amanda (Paul) Frisch, Leah (Kelsey Schultz) all of Wheaton, Tara (Eric) Turner of Cologne, Minnesota, two granddaughters Isabelle and Marissa Frisch and one grandson Brock Turner. Chuck is also survived by his Mother-in-Law Sheila Johnson, Father-in-law Darrel Johnson (Carol Giroux) all of Wheaton, three sisters Linda (Ken) Davis of Champlain, Minnesota, Pat (Kevin) Boom of Wheaton, and Gail (Bob) Thiel of Dumont, Minnesota, two brothers John (Donna) of Glencoe, Minnesota and Troy (Jonette) of Elk River, Minnesota, one brother-in-law Kit (Angie) Johnson of Wheaton, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Ronnie and Betty, one brother Jay, grandparents Jack and Rosella Krauth and Ben and Hannah Doll.
