Donald Robinson

Donald Gene Robinson, 72 of Wheaton, Minnesota passed away at Traverse Care Center Thursday October 31, 2019 after a courageous battle with aspiration pneumonia.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday November 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bainbridge Funeral Home in Wheaton with Trevor Smith officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pioneer Memorial Cemetery, rural Wheaton.

Donald was born on April 9, 1947 to Don and Edna Robinson at the Wheaton Community Hospital. Donald graduated from Wheaton High School in 1967.

Upon graduation Donald moved to Fergus Falls, Minnesota where he was so proud to have his own apartment and job. He later worked with his father in his masonry business. His last job was working at Broadway Industries.

Donald was a very kind and gentle man with a hilarious sense of humor. Remembered by his siblings for bringing home stray kittens and flowers from the neighbors to be planted in mom’s garden.

He’s remembered also as an “awesome” big brother and “King of the Cheeseburger” consumers.
He enjoyed thinking about his hope for a future life in a beautiful Paradise Earth.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Karen; nephew Matthew; as well as his three brothers-in-law.

He is survived by his brother Mike Robinson of Wheaton; and sisters: Gwen Passmore of Huron, South Dakota; and Cindy Lotsey of Wheaton; and several nieces and nephews.
