Eileen Roman

Graveside Services will be held July 7, 2017 at 11:15 a.m. at Ft. Snelling Nation Cemetery (funeral area #4), Minneapolis, Minnesota with Rev. George Henry Ripley III officiating. Family invites everyone for lunch following the service.

Eileen M. (Jackola) Roman was born December 4, 1921 to John and Alina (Matta) Jackola in Sebeka, Minnesota. Eileen married Lars Roman on January 10, 1942. Eileen enjoyed many hobbies especially reading. The couple was blessed with six daughters: Katherine Lynn born in 1942 and passed away in 1985, Judith Lee (George) Ripley of Mora, Minnesota; Jeannie Lareen Roman born in 1951 and passed away in 1952; Linda Marie Freques born in 1953 and passed away in 2002; Dawn Susan Roman of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Robin Gaye (Johnny) James of Columbia Heights, Minnesota; six grandchildren: Kim (Kim) Kruger of Fergus Falls, Minnesota; Alan George Blaido of Fergus Falls, Minnesota; Kevin Lance (Gerry) Blaido of Blaine, Minnesota; Darrell Lars (Tami) Ripley of Plymouth, Minnesota; Michelle Margert (Nate) Varhol of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Jameson Dylon James of St. Paul, Minnesota; eleven great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and one brother Cliff Jackola of Kent, Washington.

Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, two sisters and a grandson Kelly George Ripley and great-grandson Scott Lee Kruger.
