Frank Wieser

A private family memorial service for Frank Wieser, 55, of Fargo, North Dakota will be held Friday, October 29, 2010 at 4:00 P.M. at the Ranney Funeral Home in Wheaton, Minnesota. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Francis Alan Frank Wieser was born on September 26, 1955 in Graceville, MN to Jerome and Genrose (Frisch) Wieser. He grew up in Dumont, MN, attended Grade School at St. Peters Catholic School in Dumont and High School at Wheaton High School in Wheaton, MN, graduating in 1973. After High School he attended Moorhead Technical School graduating from the Culinery Arts Class. After graduation he worked in various restaurants in Fargo then moved to Las Vegas in 1976. While in Las Vegas he worked as a Chef at Maxims. While living and working there, he met and married Patsy Porter in 1981. That same year they returned to the Fargo/Moorhead area where he again worked in various restaurants including the Radison, Eventide and Moorhead Country Club. Frank is survived by his mother Genrose Wieser, and five sisters: Mary (Ronald) Geiser of Hastings, MN, Sharon (Curtis) Jorschumb of Moorhead, MN, Barb (Dennis) Richards of Cottage Grove, MN, Shelly (William) Kleindl of Graceville, MN, and Kris (Roger) Merriam of Watertown, SD. He also is survived by 6 nieces and 3 nephews, his ex-wife and good friend Patsy, and many aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father Jerome Wieser, his grandparents Frank and Freda Wieser and Michael and Pauline Frisch and many aunts and uncles.
