Glenn Gravatt

Glenn W. Gravatt a long time resident of Chino, California, passed away from Leukemia on July 11, 2009 on his birthday. He was born in Graceville, Minnesota. His parents, Wallace and Martha moved to Covina, California, in 1951 where he met his wife Sally of 55 years. Glenn was a General Contractor for 51 years. His passions were his family and his Rodeo career. Roping with his son and grandkids was close to his heart. Glenn was a cowboy and roped up to his last days. He was a Gold card member of the PRCA and a member of many Roping Associations. Glenn is survived by his mother, Martha Gravatt of Wheaton, Minnesota, his wife Sally Gravatt of Chino, California, sister Sharon (John) Hansen of Bountiful, Utah, three children, Bambi (Jerry) Van Dyke, Dusty Gravatt, Lori (Jayson) Law, and several grandchildren; Lance, Daniel, Dusty II, Rainee, Tyler, Clayton, Eric, Heidi, Mitchell and 10 great grandchildren, many nephews, nieces and cousins, all of who will miss him dearly. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Chapel in Riverside, California. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. at Wildwood Cemetery in Wheaton on Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Everyone is invited to lunch at the Presbyterian Church in Wheaton following services.
