Jerald Kjorness

A Graveside Service for Jerald Jerry Kjorness, 70, of Fargo, North Dakota, formerly of Herman, Minnesota will be held Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at Lakeside Cemetery, rural Herman, Minnesota with Pastor Jennifer Rose officiating. Jerry was born on October 14, 1940 in Elbow Lake, Minnesota to Ted and Clarice (Ritzschke) Kjorness. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He worked for a time at Productive Alternatives in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. He also worked in Moorhead, Minnesota. He lived his later years in Fargo, North Dakota. Jerry passed away on Friday, April 8, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Valley City, North Dakota. Jerry is survived by his nephews: Travis (Karen) Kjorness of Barnesville, Minnesota, David (Tammy) Kjorness of Herman, Minnesota and Scott (Stacy) Kjorness of Lowry, Minnesota. He is also survived by Aunts, Uncle, cousins and great-nieces. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, George Kjorness and one sister-in-law, Kathy Kjorness.
