Kay Ellingson

Kay Ellingson, 53, of Wheaton, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Wheaton, Minnesota Tuesday, April 9, 2019.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bainbridge Funeral Home in Wheaton with Pastor Tim Shekleton officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday morning, one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery in Fergus Falls, Minnesota at a later date.

Kay Mae Ellingson was born October 19, 1965 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Kay was the daughter of Arlo "Rusty" and Betty Hauge. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls, Minnesota and graduated from Fergus Falls High school.

She enjoyed being around people, joking and laughing with them (and cooking for them - potato dumplings were her specialty) she was very proud of her grandson Noah and her 3 dogs.

Kay is survived by her two sons, Blaine Ernst of Bismarck, ND; and Tyler Ernst of Hillsboro, ND; one brother, Kevin (Judy) Hauge of Fargo, ND; one grandchild Noah Binstock of Bismarck, ND; one niece and two nephews, Brandon (Kayla) of West Fargo, ND, Brittany Fargo, ND and Brady (Jackie) Hauge of Mapleton, ND.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great-nephew Carter Lee Hauge.
