Kenneth Joseph Cook

Kenneth Joseph Anthony Paul Cook was born in Graceville, Minnesota to Grace and Joseph Cook on September 10, 1931. He died peacefully on November 4, 2025 at the age of 94 years young in Norwalk, Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by his parents Grace and Joseph Cook; daughter Nicole Cook; brothers Bernie, Lyle and Duane Cook; sister Lorraine (Cook) Pullis; wife Donna (Avis) Cook; grandson Corey Miller; brother-in-law Ronald Randall; sisters-in-law: Vonnie Cook, Via and Sheryl Avis; nephews: Roger Cook and Tom Pullis; nieces: Sharon Cook and Patricia “Trish” (Pullis) Smith.

Kenneth is loved and survived by his children: Rhonda (David) Waggoner; Kenneth (Kacey) Cook Jr.; Lesa (Jose) Tirado; and Shawn (Jessica) Cook; sister Dolores Randall; brothers-in-law: Don and Dick Avis; eleven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass was held December 13, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Graceville, Minnesota with Fr. Shawn Polman Celebrant. Visitation was held one hour prior to service time at the church. 

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, July 11, 2026 at noon in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery, Dumont, Minnesota with Fr. Shawn Polman officiating. Military Rites will be provided by the Merton Dale American Legion Post #80. A lunch will be served following the Graveside Service at the Wheaton American Legion.
