Lee Michael Hausmann of Wheaton, passed away Sunday, January 21, at his home in Wheaton. Lee was 59 years old. Funeral Services for Lee Hausmann were held Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at 11:00 AM at St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton, MN. Rev. Charles Horkey officiated. Pallbearers were Jim Montonye, John Fridgen, Gerald Siltman, Ted Siltman, Mark Hendrickson and Ryan Jackson. Honorary bearers were Lees 4 grandsons: Matthew, Noah, and Jacob Hendrickson, and Gabriel Jackson. Interment was in Wildwood Cemetery in Wheaton. Visitation was held one hour prior to services at the church. Lee was born July 16, 1947 in Breckenridge, MN to Martha (Siltman) and Roland Hausmann. He was their only child. He was raised in Wheaton and graduated from Wheaton High School in 1965. During his senior year of high school, Lee won the Minnesota Junior Archery Championship. He then attended NDSU in Fargo. Lee married Judy Johnson, also of Wheaton, in August of 1968. Lee served in the Army during the Viet Nam War where he received a bronze medal. After the service he was employed by Houston Engineering of Fargo as a Land Surveyor. In May of 1983, Lee sustained severe injuries from a motorcycle accident. Lee has spent the last many years living in Wheaton and enjoyed riding his bike, gardening, sports, and spending time with his family. Lee was also a great wildlife enthusiast. He is survived by 2 daughters: Ginger Lee (Mark) Hendrickson of Devils Lake, North Dakota, Darcy (Ryan) Jackson of Fargo, North Dakota, 4 grandsons, 2 aunts: Carrie Quandt of Wheaton and Ethel McNamee of Montana, several cousins.
