Lisa Jo (Kremer) Clark passed away on December 2, 2006, as a result of a blood disorder stemming from complications from her successful battle against leukemia 16 years ago. Lisa 's courage, spirit and determination against seemingly insurmountable odds were an inspiration to us all. She overcame acute leukemia at the age of 28, becoming one of the first bone marrow transplant recipients at the University of Minnesota Hospitals. She used that experience to inspire and give hope to others suffering with cancer as a frequent visitor to the Roger Maris Cancer Center in Fargo. Lisa was also an active participant in the American Cancer Society's "Look Good, Feel Better" program, where she was able to use her talents in cosmetology to help others retain their dignity despite the devastating effects of cancer treatment.
