Funeral Services for Marcella Dupree of Wheaton, Minnesota will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bethlehem Covenant Church in Wheaton, with Pastor Tim Shekleton officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Monday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. Burial will be in the spring at Wildwood Cemetery in Wheaton. Pallbearers will be Rodney Dupree, Joey Dupree, Robert Schmitz, Dale Larson, Bob Dehan and Wesley McCoy. Honorary Pallbearers will be all the past and present members of the Wheaton Community Hospital. Marcella was born March 5, 1920 to John and Mary Enderlee near Tintah, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed into the Catholic faith at Tintah, Minnesota. She attended country school through the eight grade. In February of 1939, she was united in marriage to James Dupree. They resided in Tintah until 1941, when they moved to Norcross, Minnesota. To this union came four children, three daughters and a son. She was a devoted mother and housewife. In 1956 they moved to California, returning to Wheaton, Minnesota in 1957. In 1959, she started working at the Wheaton Community Hospital. She worked for fifty two years as a devoted nurses aid. Working there was one of her biggest joys. She was able to enjoy her work until January 5, 2011. She will be greatly missed by many employees and patients. She was known for her famous backrubs. She greatly enjoyed visits from her children and grandchildren, shopping, watching soap operas and reading. She also enjoyed traveling with her family to the Black Hills, California, New Mexico and Hawaii. Marcella passed away January 7, 2011 at the Wheaton Community Hospital. She is survived by four children: Shirley Hendrix of Newhall, CA, James Dupree of St. Augustine, FL, Carolyn and Ken Couey of Omaha, NE, and Cindy Pahl of Wheaton, five grandchildren: Rodney (Barbara) Dupree of New Hope, Minnesota, Wesley McCoy of Omaha, Nebraska, Merna (Kirk) Broberg of Torrington, Wyoming, Marcie (Jason) Pearson of Wheaton, Minnesota, and Mandy (Eric) Pedersen of Milbank, South Dakota, eight great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, one sister: Eileen Robbins of North Branch, MN, two sisters-in-law: Mary Lou Enderlee of Fergus Falls, and Pearl Anderson of Donnelly, two brothers-in-law: Charlie Dupree of Breckenridge and Harold and Mary Dupree of Thief River Falls. Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James, brothers: John and Clem Enderle, sisters: Margaret Boeck and Mary Peutz, and special friend, Willard Red Harrison.
