Regina Cecilia Schuldt was born on August 2, 1917 in Walls Township, Traverse County, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Henry and Rose (Yezek) Schildt. She was baptized at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Dumont, Minnesota on August 15, 1917 by Fr. Victor V. Siegler. She attended country school graduating from eighth grade in 1931. Regina would further her education receiving her GED on April 22, 1982 in Morris, Minnesota.

Regina was active in the local youth and social clubs in the area. When Regina wasn't helping out at home, she would work in the homes of neighboring farms. That is where she met her husband Harold. Regina and Harold were married on November 15, 1943 at Ave Maria Catholic Church in Wheaton by Fr. Seicken.

Regina and Harold farmed until 1964 when they moved to Minneapolis and worked at the University of Minnesota Hospital for thirteen years. In 1979 they retired and moved back to Wheaton. Regina moved to the Traverse Care Center in 2011 after an illness and lived there until the time of her death.

Regina was very active in her church. She loved flowers and gardening. She loved children, even though she had none of her own, she took care of everyone's children as if they were hers. Millie and Regina would play cards everyday, and they could and would only stop for coffee; then right back to playing cards - until Regina would win and rub it into Millie. She was a "stinker" and loved to win! She wrote letters to all her family and friends weekly, with a few still on her night stand ready to send in the mail.

Regina is survived by many nieces and nephews including Millie Krauth her faithful card player and companion to all her needs.

Regina was preceded in death by her husband Harold; parents Henry and Rose; brother Joseph; sisters Lucille Johnson and Shirley Richards; and step-brothers: Richard and Eugene Cable.

Hugs and kisses to you Regina, until we meet again! XOXO
