Memorial Service for Richard Dick M. Beier, 64, of Wheaton, Minnesota will be held Saturday, June 10, 2006 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Beardsley, Minnesota with Rev. Paul Warnier officiating. Organist will be Kathy Issendorf and special music will be provided by Stacy Sibson and Sue Sykora. Visitation will be from 9:30 until 10:00 on Saturday morning at the church. Richard was born on June 19, 1941 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota to Larry and Genieve (Lucas) Beier. He attended school in Black Duck, Minnesota graduating in 1959. He loved fishing and hunting. Richard was united in marriage to JoAnn Lock in 1961. Richard served in the United States Army from 1963 until 1965. Richard later married Lois Stern. Dick was a meat cutter and owned and operated the Dumont Locker Plant for many years. After closing the Dumont Locker Dick worked for Jim Schmitz at the Wheaton Locker Plant. Richard was a semi truck driver for the Rinke farms the last several years. Richard also worked for a time at Polytec in Wheaton. Richard passed away at his home on June 4, 2006. Richard is survived by two sons: Micheal Beier of Anoka, Minnnesota, and Rick Beier of Their River Falls, Minnesota, Parents: Larry (Genieve) Beier of Beardsley, Minnesota, three sisters: Sharron (Cloyd) kilde of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, Eileen (Richard) Figenser of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Sandra (Carlos) Workman of Rice, Minnesota, one brother: Dale (Karen) Beier of Brighton, Colorado, two grandchildren: Jack Beier of Anoka, Minnesota, and Kira Beier of Thief River Falls, Minnesota and one niece: Mia Beier. Richard was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and his first wife, JoAnn.
