Sandra Keaveny

Funeral Service for Sandra "Sandy" Lyn Keaveny, age 73, of Wheaton, Minnesota will be held Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bainbridge Funeral Home in Wheaton, Minnesota with Fr. Joe Vandeberg officiating. Special Music will be provided by Marcy LeClair. Honorary Urn bearers will be Sandy's grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday starting at noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Wheaton. Sandra Lyn Erickson was born in Fergus Falls, MN on May 3, 1941 the daughter of Raymond and Helyn (Bevins) Erickson. She attended and graduated from Fergus Falls High School. Sandy was married to William Keaveny on October 17, 1959 in Fergus Falls; they were married 41 years. Sandy worked numerous part-time jobs outside of the home while raising her children and during later years as a sales clerk for the Home Bakery for over 10 years. She enjoyed Golf, bowling, attending high school basketball games, card club, sewing, knitting and crocheting. She was actively involved in Wheaton Women Jaycees, Ladies Guild, and other community events. Sandy passed away September 26, 2014 at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Sandy is survived by three children: Cheryl (Curtis) Paulzine of Monticello, MN, Scott Keaveny of Melrose, MN, and Jan (Mike) Neumann of Wheaton, MN; ten grandchildren: Aaron Koch, Amber Koch (Sean Yunk), Tyler (Heather) Koch, Randy Paulzine, Jamie (Dustin) Kindelberger, Casey Neumann (Kelcie Tschida), Kristopher Neumann (Lynn Wegner), Traeton Keaveny, Preston Keaveny and Maiya Keaveny; six great-grandchildren: Ashton, Nash, Brynlee, Mia, Braylen and Kinsley; two brothers: Harold Erickson and Norman (Nancy) Erickson; two cats Zoe and Brie, and other family and friends. Sandy was preceded in death by Parents Raymond and Helyn Erickson and her husband William Peter Keaveny.
