Susan Lou Vines Dailey

Susan Dailey, age 77, of Wheaton, Minnesota passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Monday, October 16, 2023 at her residence in Wheaton under hospice care.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, October 29, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bainbridge Funeral Home in Wheaton. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. A private family burial will take place at a later date.

Susan was a strong willed and independent person with an intelligent mind. She was a graduate of Waterloo East High School and later in life received an Associate’s Degree in String Instrument Repair from Red Wing Vocational Institute. She had many varied interests which ranged from studying archeology to Chinese history and culture. She was a lifelong proponent of the food co-operative movement. She loved camping, gardening, reading, music and playing Mahjong with her online friends. She shared her love of fishing with Brad and science fiction with Brenda. She was proud of her contribution to the Voyager 1 mission which has left a far reaching and long-lasting legacy for all.

She was preceded in death by her parents Marguerite and William Russell. She leaves behind her children Brad (Laura) Mrzlak, Brenda (Rolf) Kragseth and Robert Remington, her beloved grandchildren Anthony, Brady, Calvin, Sophia, Stephen, Marguerite and Evelyn, along with her brothers Ron (Gerri) Russell and Steve (Joyce) Russell and much-loved nephews.
