After his stint in the service he attended Devry Institute of Electronics in Chicago and from there he worked for Hughes Aircraft in California. He soon found he didn’t like working inside all the time so he became an electrician and worked for the Union until retirement, traveling to jobs all over the western part of the United States. They both liked to travel in their Fifth Wheel and spent most of the winter months in AZ. When he was unable to travel anymore they bought a place in Yuma in 2005 and spent most winters there, and in 2014 made their permanent home in Yuma. His health deteriorated over the years and he moved into River Valley Estates in 2018. Milt passed away on May 27, 2020. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Yuma, AZ.
